Privacy

There are no ads or accounts, and we don't sell anything about you. We count plays so we know which games people play, and you can turn that off.

What we measure

When you visit, we record anonymous events: which pages and games are opened, which game cards are seen and clicked, how long a game is actively played, load times, script errors, and from the request itself your country (not your IP address), device type, operating system and browser. We use them to fix and improve the games, and to decide what to make next.

To see whether people come back, we keep a random ID on your device. It isn't linked to your name, email or any account.

What is stored on your device

NamePurposeKept
rb-pidAnonymous ID for play statisticsUntil you turn statistics off or clear site data
rb-sessionGroups one visit's events together30 minutes after your last action
rb-analyticsYour choice about statisticsUntil you change it
rb-historyYour recently played games, for "Continue playing". Never sent anywhere.Until you clear site data
Game savesEach game's own progressUntil you clear site data

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics (with Consent Mode, and with advertising features off) for overall traffic and where visitors come from.

Visitors in Europe

If your device is set to a European time zone, we ask before storing the ID or loading Google Analytics. Until you allow it, plays are counted without any ID, and nothing is stored for statistics.

Turning it off

Use the switch at the foot of any page. It removes the ID and stops all statistics from this browser.

Game apps

Rudderberry games installed from an app store may show ads served by the store's ad network, which has its own privacy policy, described on each app's store listing. The games themselves collect nothing; progress is saved on your device.
